Finally

The Pirates are finally going to name a new head coach.  The winning coach is Clint Hurdle hitting coach of the Texas Rangers and former manager of the Colorado Rockies.  This should be a good fit because Hurdle is very good with young players which is what the Pirates have a lot of.  Once he was fired by the Rockies he became the Rangers hitting coach leading them to number one in hitting for the MLB and fifth in runs scored.  Maybe he can bring that offensive coaching to the Bucs.  What do you think about the new coach?

  1. All that I can really say is that I wish them the best of luck and I hope that he is able to turn things around for the Pittsburgh team. It would be nice to have a major league baseball team that actually had a fairly descent average for the season. I mean most of the other professional teams in Pittsburgh have at least an average season and it would be nice to say that about all the sports in the city. Hopefully, this new coach also encourages the players to stick around instead of constantly leaving to go sign with another team as well.
